Introduction to Cloud Infrastructure: Describe cloud concepts

This is the opening learning path in Microsoft's Azure infrastructure fundamentals series, the material behind the AZ-900 exam, and it is deliberately short. Microsoft's catalog lists it at 56 minutes, which we show as 0.9 hours. It contains three modules read in order: one on what cloud computing is, one on the benefits of using cloud services, and one on cloud service types. Each module is a set of short text units with a knowledge check near the end, and you can read everything without creating a profile; signing in only adds progress tracking and a trophy when the path is complete.

The catalog marks the path as beginner level and aims it at administrators, developers, DevOps engineers and solution architects who are new to Azure. Everything here is free: Microsoft states that its Learn training costs nothing. There is no certificate for finishing a learning path, only a shareable profile trophy, so we list it without a credential.
