Diploma in Project Management

Alison's project management diploma is a broad survey course rather than a methodology-specific one. It begins with the fundamentals and core principles of project management, then looks at how project teams are assembled and led, the stages of the risk management process, and the documentation used to record and report progress. Later sections follow the project life cycle in order — initiation, planning, budgeting and implementation — and cover the communication strategies that keep stakeholders aligned; the page's own FAQ adds that it walks through the analysis, planning, design and evaluation phases of the system development life cycle. Alison notes that the course was updated for 2024.

It is self-paced, delivered as online modules that include video and end in assessments, rated Beginner Level, and Alison lists an average duration of 10 to 15 hours; it is available in English and Spanish and is CPD-accredited.
