Leadership Development is a four-week OxfordX course from Saïd Business School, taught by Emeritus Professor Tim Morris. It centres on motivation, adaptability, diversity and influence as the levers of team performance and longer-term impact. The course covers what performance means in an organisation and the impact leaders have on it, the different traits, styles and contexts of leadership, and how thinking about leadership has evolved, before turning inward to your own leadership style and those of the people around you, what separates effective from ineffective leadership, and where your strengths and weaknesses lie.
edX rates it introductory and self-paced at two to four hours a week, with no prerequisites listed. The audit track is free while the course run is active and excludes graded work and the certificate; a verified certificate costs $189. Instruction is in English with British English transcripts.
