The Compute Knowledge Badge Readiness Path is a Skill Builder learning plan of 14 trainings, 16 hours 20 minutes in total, rated Intermediate, that leads to the AWS Knowledge: Compute badge. It focuses on Amazon EC2 and includes courses, knowledge checks, a pre-assessment and the knowledge badge assessment. The outline starts with an AWS Compute Services Overview and Amazon EC2 Basics, then covers AWS Graviton processors, the Trainium and Inferentia AI chips, a Nitro System deep dive, Build with Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda Foundations, compute cost optimisation, Capacity Manager, EC2 observability and troubleshooting, right-sizing, EC2 innovations and confidential computing, and ends with the Compute Knowledge Badge Assessment. AWS's badge page says Knowledge Badges are free to earn and share: register for a free Skill Builder account, enrol in the readiness path, pass the assessment with at least an 80 percent score and claim the badge through Credly. The assessment's own listing says badges are issued by Credly within five to seven business days. The plan page carries no notice that any of its trainings requires a subscription, and every item in the outline is a digital course.
