Cloud Essentials - Knowledge Badge Readiness Path (includes Labs)

The Cloud Essentials Knowledge Badge Readiness Path is a Skill Builder learning plan of 11 trainings that leads to the AWS Knowledge: Cloud Essentials badge. The plan page lists 21 hours 55 minutes of content at Fundamental level for people new to AWS, covering foundational cloud concepts, AWS services, security, architecture, pricing and support. The outline is five digital courses (Job Roles in the Cloud, AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, Getting Started with Cloud Acquisition, AWS Billing and Cost Management, and AWS Foundations: Getting Started with the AWS Cloud Essentials), five short AWS Builder Labs of 45 minutes to an hour introducing EC2, S3, VPC, IAM and CloudFront, and the Cloud Essentials Knowledge Badge Assessment; you can follow the order given or pick the parts you need.

AWS's badge page says badges are free to earn and share: you register for a free Skill Builder account, enrol in the readiness path and pass the assessment with at least an 80 percent score, then claim the badge through Credly. The plan is listed under Skill Builder's free access tier, its page carries no notice that any training requires a subscription, and the first lab in the outline shows an access tier of Free.
