HubSpot Academy's Inbound Marketing Certification Course covers the customer-centric approach HubSpot calls inbound: attracting people with useful content and nurturing them through the buyer's journey. The nine lessons start with inbound marketing fundamentals and getting to know your customer, then move through creating content for each stage of the buyer's journey, building a content distribution strategy, behavioural marketing and customer segmentation, measuring return with marketing attribution and experimentation, and using marketing automation and artificial intelligence, before a closing next-steps lesson. Teaching is by video, 24 videos in total, with seven quizzes along the way and a certification exam at the end. The course page lists a total running time of 4 hours 53 minutes.

Everything is free: creating a HubSpot Academy account costs nothing, and the page labels the course a free certification course, so the certificate itself carries no fee. The course is offered in English and also in German, Spanish, French, Japanese and Portuguese. HubSpot's knowledge base lists the Inbound Marketing certification among those valid for two years, after which you retake the exam to stay certified.
