Relational Databases Certification
- Free

The fundamentals of relational databases, taught alongside the command-line tools developers use with them. The teaching chapter opens with code editors and Bash fundamentals, then SQL and PostgreSQL, with a celestial bodies database as the first project. It continues with Bash scripting, combining SQL and Bash, and two more projects — a World Cup database and a salon appointment scheduler — before introducing Git and finishing with a periodic table database, a number guessing game and a review.
The second chapter is the certification exam. Like the rest of freeCodeCamp's Full-Stack Developer curriculum, the material is delivered as interactive lessons, workshops, labs, reviews and quizzes that you work through at your own pace, and five required projects must be completed to qualify for the exam. The course, the exam and the certificate are all free; freeCodeCamp states that taking the exam is free of charge, and the certificate is published at a public URL on freecodecamp.org where it can be checked by anyone you share it with.
