CS50's Web Programming with Python and JavaScript continues from CS50x into building and deploying web applications. It works with Python, JavaScript and SQL and with frameworks including Django, React and Bootstrap, and covers database design, scalability, security and user experience, along with writing and using APIs, building interactive user interfaces, and using cloud services such as GitHub and Heroku. Harvard lists CS50x or prior experience in any programming language as the prerequisite and rates the course intermediate. The material spans nine weeks; each week you watch a lecture and submit a project, and the course finishes with a final project.
It is free through Harvard's OpenCourseWare, with a free edX account needed to submit projects for feedback. Scoring at least 70% on every project, including the final project, qualifies you for a free CS50 Certificate. A verified certificate from edX costs $199 according to Harvard's course listing, which also gives a time commitment of 6 to 9 hours per week.
