It introduces a core set of CSS properties, the fundamental selectors used to target elements, how to design page layout with relative positioning, and best practices in web design. No prerequisites are listed.
edX marks it as introductory level and self-paced, at five weeks of five to seven hours a week. It can be audited free of charge, which gives access to the course material for a limited period (edX states that audit access expires after the estimated course length) but not to graded assignments or a certificate. The verified track, which includes those, is shown on the page at 249 US dollars.
