Unconscious Bias in Medicine

Unconscious Bias in Medicine is a one-hour online activity run directly on Stanford Center for Continuing Medical Education's own site, with a registration fee listed as FREE. It carries 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit for physicians and 1 hour of Non-Physician Participation Credit for other learners, and its current accreditation period runs from January 1 to December 31, 2026. Stanford built it for the academic medicine workplace: existing research on unconscious bias gives a science-based footing, case studies show bias in practice, self-assessment exercises let you locate your own biases across gender, race, ethnicity and culture, and a section on bias-busting strategies is meant to be carried back into your own environment.
