Quantum Mechanics is a 27-lecture course from Oxford's Department of Physics, delivered by Professor James Binney and released as open content in both audio and video. Binney builds the subject from probability amplitudes: how probabilities are obtained from amplitudes, why that produces quantum interference, and how a complete set of amplitudes defines a quantum state. The lectures then introduce Dirac notation and the energy representation, operators and measurement, and the time-dependent Schrödinger equation, before working through the harmonic oscillator, square wells, tunnelling and the ammonia maser. Later sessions cover transformations and parity, composite systems and entanglement including the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen experiment and Bell's inequality, orbital and spin angular momentum with the Stern-Gerlach experiment, and finally the hydrogen atom in three parts.
