freeCodeCamp's data analysis certification teaches the open-source Python toolkit that has replaced expensive proprietary software for much analytical work. It is arranged in three blocks: a Data Analysis with Python course, a NumPy section, and the Data Analysis with Python projects. By the end you should be able to read data from sources such as CSV files and SQL, and use NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib and Seaborn to process and visualise it.

The material is self-paced and free, and the certification is claimed after completing the certification projects in the final block; the certificate is published at a public URL on freecodecamp.org where anyone can verify it. Note that freeCodeCamp now lists this course under its archived coursework: it says the content in this section is not being updated but is still available to further your learning, and recommends its current curriculum (whose Python certification covers the language itself rather than data analysis). The certification remains listed among freeCodeCamp's certifications.
