The twenty blocks run in the order a textbook would: ratios and proportions, solving for x, fractions and decimals, functions and graphing, linear functions, common factors and square roots, a multi-function calculator project, graphing and solving systems of equations and their applications, quadratic equations, a graphing calculator project, parent graphs and polynomials, three math games, business applications of algebra, simple and compound interest, exponents and logarithms, a financial calculator project, a conclusion and a data graph explorer.
Throughout, you build your own algebra Colab notebook that serves as a custom calculator and as a foundation for further mathematics and data science. The course is self-paced and free, and the certificate is issued at a public URL on freecodecamp.org. freeCodeCamp now lists it under its archived coursework — the content is not being updated but remains available — and recommends its current curriculum, which has no algebra course of its own.
