Explore the fundamentals of Microsoft Power Platform

This learning path is Microsoft's PL-900 preparation material for the Power Platform. Microsoft's catalog gives a total of 344 minutes, which we show as 5.7 hours, and marks it beginner level, aimed at business owners, business users, makers and students. Six modules run in order: the business value of the Power Platform, Microsoft Dataverse, governance and administration, the basic capabilities of Power Apps, the components of Power Automate, and the features of Copilot Studio agents. Along the way Microsoft explains how AI features are built into each product.

Modules are text units with a knowledge check at the end; some units describe tasks in the Power Platform, and to follow along you would need access to a Power Platform environment, which is not part of the path itself. The training is free, as all Microsoft Learn content is, and you can read it without an account, though signing in records progress and awards a trophy on completion. No certificate is issued for completing the path, and the PL-900 certification exam it prepares you for is a separate paid product that we do not list.
