Data Visualization with Python

Data Visualization with Python, course code DV0101EN, teaches how to turn tables of numbers into charts that people can read, using the Matplotlib, Seaborn and Folium libraries. The Cognitive Class page states an estimated effort of ten hours at beginner level, in English, and describes the course as self-paced. Five modules run in order: an introduction to visualisation tools and basic plotting with Matplotlib, using a dataset on immigration to Canada; basic visualisation tools such as area plots, histograms and bar charts; specialised tools including pie, box, scatter and bubble plots; advanced tools including waffle charts, word clouds and Seaborn regression plots; and creating maps and geospatial visualisations with Folium, from marker maps to choropleth maps. Work is done in the platform's Jupyter-based labs.

The page lists Python 101 and Data Analysis with Python as requirements, so this is a third step rather than a starting point. The course is free of charge and the page says a certificate is offered on completion at no cost. IBM's badges page also lists a Data Visualization using Python digital badge issued through Credly.
