Good & quick start for the beginners.

The course could have been more deep. The names used in the programs could be confusing a bit (ex. same name is used in the module solution for definition and file name).

Also few concepts are used earlier without explanation and later explained after few seconds (e,g for loop is used in file section before the actual explanation).

The course is just a presentation of the slides. No real-time typing happens (except the installation part).

I feel like for an absolute beginner there are some courses that are easier to follow than others. When it comes to defining the exercises, the expectations for some, were vague and could be misunderstood. Taking into account that this was a 3 hour course, it does however, give a nice broad overview and is best used in addition to other Python learning sources.

I’ve tried using other resources for beginner level Python but this is one of the best I’ve used. I think the challenges in this set it apart. I like how they build off each other which really helps to put the different lessons together. While I got this during a sale I think this would have been well worth it at full price

    Pro:
    -Concise
-Practice Exercises with responses and explanations
-Quiz at the end of each section
-Attach files: not only the source code but also the slides and other goodies

    Cons:
-Some IDE recommendations would be more than welcomed
-Maybe you can add a dedicated chapter for Object Oriented Programming in the future

It is a good introduction. Of course not everything can be covered in this short amount of time but it is a good start.

  7. Augusto Leite

Good to have a basic knowledge, but the explanations are very fast and the examples a little bit confuses. It would be better if the exercises were being done during the class instead of the slides.

The difficulty of the exercises reached a point where I was overwhelmed and had to resort to reviewing the solutions.

Good example and to the point. Very well summarized. This could also have some more examples that will be helpful for getting concepts more cleared practically.

I throughly enjoyed this course. The one thing I wish was added was a video of step by step process for the assignments.

This was a quick lesson to learn about basics and the syntax of python 3. I am yet to explore other advanced topics. But for beginner, I will leave a 4.5 star.
