Excellent course for 1st time or very new users of FCPX. This will get you editing videos and using most of the software features available. A great reference to revisit.

Over all, a great instructor & great course. However, the Final Cut interface has changed since this series of videos were made. That dates this course a bit. And a word of caution: the nature of compound clips is more complex than presented. I’d recommend reading more about them on your own. This said, I thought the course was a very good introduction to the program, and I liked the pace.

Please don’t assume that content is not provided in resource files. Everything is available in resources. Andy is an amazing instructor. As I’m a beginner, this course gave me a ton of knowledge. It’s time for me to explore and create wonders. Thanks ANDY!!!

Unfortunately I have a newer version of fcp and the interface is a bit different so not always easy to follow.

Andy is exceptional! I have taken several courses here and this is one of the best courses I have seen on Udemy.

Andy provides a clear and thorough explanation of FCP’s features. The pace was just right for me – rapid with an occasional bit of humor thrown in.
Davide Pasquale –
The course is very good and exhaustive…was expecting a bit more of undisclosed functionalities but other than that is very good

This was a great course, overflowing with clear and excellent information. Andy’s teaching style is charismatic and engaging. My only disappointment is that the FCP interface has changed a lot since this course was made, and it can be challenging to find where certain buttons and features are, since they don’t always match the screenshots and menus we see. Also, it appears Andy no longer monitors the course to answer questions, which is disappointing. But the course itself is excellent.

Please be aware the course has not been updated since the MacOS Mavericks (released in 2013) and you can not use this course very well for the current version of Final Cut Pro X
