This course is a shame ,there is no in-depth training, just showing each option of the program what it does, which everyone can find out for themselves by simply pressing the buttons.

The course is very beginner. There is almost no advanced stuff.
Cons:
– videos not organised. There is no big idea. It’s just a bunch of videos from different sources of Joe’s editor life, therefore *many repeats*.
– in most lessons it’s just a “click here, you will see this, here is a name for button, here is a name for option…” (but all names and options are labeled. I want to know – why I should use this. For example, “Color Grading” lessons: “we want to make saturation less with this control”… but why?)
Pros:
– good for someone who never touch video editing
– good english, very easy to undersand
Overall, I want to say thank you, but I’m definetelly not impressed. I want to say, it worth time I spent, but most of lessons for me was 2x speed.

Nice starter course, but doesn’t feel very organized. The speaker seems to go randomly between subjects and even the last section, 46, when he says “Now let’s apply what we’ve learned”, nothing special is coming after that. I would love to see this course seeing fleshed out with more projects and longer videos and more explanation about the functions in FCP.
