Are you satisfied with the money you’re making with wedding photography?
Are you sure your pricing is working?
Here’s the bad news: the average wedding photographer leaves $500 to $1,500 on the table with every single wedding by improperly pricing themselves.
Now for the good news: you can make back that lost income almost overnight. And that’s without improving your current website, portfolio, marketing, etc. All it takes is some thought and an hour on a word processor.
I spent 15 years in sales and marketing before I launched my photography business in 2006. Unlike most photographers – who are obsessed with cameras, lenses and photography technique – I have always been obsessed with business. From day one I was experimenting with marketing, pricing and sales to find out how to make the most money I possibly could with wedding photography.
Using this system I went from earning $0 on my first wedding to averaging over $5,000 per wedding within my first 2 years in business.
In this course I will show you exactly how to lay out your pricing. You’ll learn:
- the 10 most important principles for wedding pricing success
- how to set your starting price
- when and how to raise (or lower) your prices
- how to build wedding packages that work
- how to sell more album packages
- how to make sure you don’t get “bargained down” with every single wedding
- how to handle down-payments and refunds
There’s no fluff and no padding in this course. It’s not a minute longer than it needs to be for you to learn the system. I’ll walk you step-by-step through the entire pricing process. Nothing will be left to guesswork. And if you have any questions that are not answered in the course, I’ll be there to answer them in the discussion section of the course. Every wedding you book without using the methods in this course is costing you money! So don’t delay and please enroll now.

Pricing is one of those things we photographers struggle with. And if you search on the net you’ll find endless opinions and information about how to do it. And most probably you’ll end up more confused than when you started.
What I liked about this course is that Mr. Kim clearly provides a step by step method to arrive to a sound pricing strategy and how to create packages.
He also gives advise on a few issues that should be covered in wording your contracts or price list.
And, if english is not your first language, like myself, though I’m fluent in english, Mr. Kim speaks in a clear voice and with good pausation, very easy to understand.
This course is about wedding photography pricing and that’s what it is: clear and to the point. I would highly recommend it to beginners or seasoned wedding photographers.

This course delivers all that it promises. Lawrence Kim’s pricing insights answer the most basic questions of “what should I charge?” The course material is simple to understand and is delivered in a straight forward manner. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned professional you will benefit from Lawrence’s business acumen and real world photography experiences.

This course was exceptional! Laurence Kim provided exactly what was promised, I was fully engaged throughout the course and it succeeded my expectations. Wedding photographers in this day and age have to wear a lot of “hats” and be skilled at numerous areas besides the actual act of taking photographs, and having business savvy is one of those big areas. There are numerous online resources to sift through, from a variety of industry professionals, but often times these resources are not quite specific enough and leave you more confused than when you started. Laurence Kim completely turns this around by providing exact, concrete examples and plans of action to implement immediately. Within these examples and action plans he explains the reasoning in a simple and helpful manner. This is one resource that is more than worth the investment; you will walk away with a list of “to-dos” that are immediately doable and will instantly improve your revenue and business overall.

Clear, concise, and more than just general guidelines. I feel like a shark now with a unique attack going into the market. Thank you for the wonderful course and I look forward to checking out your other courses. Will be applying this mindset in various markets (not just wedding photography)!

He said at the start that there would be no fluff and filler, and he wasn’t joking. Good common sense direction, backed by clear experience.
Very concise and easy to follow – I was able to amend my own pricing on the fly while listening to the instructor.
One possible improvement might be to include a sample pricing structure for photographers who recently joined the wedding service industry, and might not be comfortable with the sample prices quoted here. At lower price points it feels more difficult to balance the base package and the middle package to make the middle package a “can’t refuse” item. For example, in my area (rural Ireland), the median is €850. It would be hard to add say, €1500 album credit and make the package feel balanced. Just a thought, and with a bit of experience I’m sure I’ll figure it out.
Overall though, for the money, great course.
