This is a little different than I thought but great. I’m glad they didn’t show much of the software view cause they’re using old softwares. Overall, the course was very knowledgeable, and motivational for me. Thank you.

Exactly what I was looking for in this course being a noob to recording music! Course focuses on fundamental items need to record music regardless of the tools being used. Not a software education course. The instructor is passionate, knowledgeable, and a great teacher for this course. I already have my money’s worth, and I’m not half way through the course. Great course, thank you!

Hands down – out of the 30 or so music oriented courses I’ve done at UDEMY. Lovely subject and a born teacher who presents with pitch perfect tone. I’m using his information/techniques.
Alex Koleber –
Great primer with lots of useful info.

Great course, highly recommend it. That being said it is a bit dated but info is solid!

This is a great introductory course on recording audio. It covers all the basics to get you up to speed. The time I spent on this course was a much better investment of my time than the days I spent trying to piece everything together by searching forums, blogs, and youtube. The course was definitely worth it.
Suggestions/Criticisms: I do wish the “recipes” had been included in the udemy course. I think the embedded product guide (such as the NUGEN) could have been shorter, or just linked. It’s not that knowing these products’ capabilities wasn’t valuable, but their inclusion made it feel like the course play time was just being padded. Also, and this is just my opinion, too much time was spent on hardware recording gear. I think your primary audience (eg beginners) in this day and age is going to be using a computer DAW + audio interface + plugins. I don’t think many people start out buying mixing consoles.
