Presentation marred by spelling mistakes. Could have done with an example of calculating load factor from energy usage ofpower bill (available from some power companies). Also would have liked to see dealing with 110V/220V systems.

this is really a very nice explanation about solar off grid system

my expectation was as per the course directive, from beginner to expert. after this information session I am nowhere near being able to build a system. no info on how to put system together, how are the panels mounted, directions, patterns, mounting practises, cable management and sizes, no info on combining inverters, how to start smaller system with future in mined to upgrade, how to tie into grid, what meters to look at, monitoring your system, how and what equipment required to manage your system.
This info is basic, introduction to solar no way is this anything more, very disappointed.

My expectations were set by the description of the course, which didn’t quite match the content. By that, I mean it got 70% of the way there. I would have preferred more detail but understand time is limited

Thank you for the well made video’s and resources. The examples help to better understand the calculations. It would be nice to see how to balance the batteries when connected in series and in parallel. Also where or how to connect the power metering to see the voltage and current coming from the panels to the batteries, before the battery charger or after or can it be placed in both sides? Also, if I want to connect a power generator to the system for emergency when their has been cloudy days longer than expected and the batteries are very low.
