Did not learn anything I don’t already know. Looks like I should be looking for a more advanced course.
Once again I’ve just wasted my money.

Great introduction to lighting and modifiers, with an emphasis on speedlights. There is also an extensive section of studio and on-location demonstrations where Bob sets up shots and works with models while explaining what he is doing, and why, all along the way. You will finish this course with a solid foundation in lighting and the motivation to get out there and start working with flash/strobes for yourself.

Some good advice for location shooting with flash-guns, though I don’t agree with Bobs’ reasoning for some of the effects, it seems he has not studied physics.

The modules were in bite-sized pieces, and the pacing was moderate enough that I could follow along with my own gear. It was especially useful that Bob always introduced ways to create the lighting effects with do-it-yourself modifications, *and with professional gear.
