Yeah I Believe I have mad a right choice choosing this course since Maria seems to be have made the course super interactive and fun. Old format of exam. Gives wrong methods to be followed for listening section. Gives wrong interpretation on the test. Cancel this course.

Maria is very organised and some of the tips she gave were crucial. However, some of them were imprecise and caused me more mistakes. For example, she said that the topic of a listening is always in the very first sentence. After solving the two practice sets that were attached, I realised that this tip wasn’t always true. In addition, Maria recommended not reading the whole passage but only the key sentences. This strategy didn’t help me and even worsen my results comparing to reading everything. Finally, I found out that the best tactic for me is not to read even a word before I read the questions. After answering all the vocabulary, inference and reference questions – I already knew what the paragraph is about and could answer perfectly the summary question.
My overall impression was good, although I think that Maria should update the course since the structure of the TOEFL text was changed in 2019 and the course was updated in 2018.
