Welcome to the COMPLETE Mixing Masterclass
This course is “5-Star Certified” by the International Association of Online Music Educators and Institutions (IAOMEI). This course has been independently reviewed by a panel of experts and has received a stellar 5-star rating.
This class is for anyone who has made or recorded music and wondered why their tracks don’t sound like the tracks they hear on the radio, Spotify, SoundCloud, or anywhere else. This is the missing link in your production workflow.
In this class we start with the very basics of mixing, and work all the way up to finishing great tracks. I walk you through every step of the process, and explain my logic behind every decision I make. I’ll even walk you through a complete mix from beginning to end.
The goal of this class is for you to learn how to take your tracks from good to great.
100%Â Answer Rate! Every single question posted to this class is answered within 24 hours by the instructor.
DAWs:
In this class, I’ll be using Ableton Live, but if you are not a Live user – that is totally ok! I’ve gone to great lengths to make sure this class is useful to everyone, no matter which audio platform they are working with. So if you are a Logic user, FL Studio user, Cubase user, Bitwig user, or anything else – it will all work. You will be able to do all of the techniques that I walk you through in any audio application.

I’m best known for working with electronic music, but I’ve designed this course to be as inclusive as possible when it comes to genre. We will talk about mixing techniques for all instruments, sounds, and styles. All genres are welcome here!

Praise for Courses by Jason Allen:
⇢  “It seems like every little detail is being covered in an extremely simple fashion. The learning process becomes relaxed and allows complex concepts to get absorbed easily. My only regret is not taking this course earlier.” – M. Shah

Great overview, very helpfully laid out, really clear presentation and engaging instructor. I’m completely new to mixing and feel now that I have the basic tools, and am also able to read blogs about mixing and understand them properly. Before I was just bamboozled. Excited to get going on my newly recorded EP and get it sounding sharper. Huge thanks! Worth every penny…
Fathi Hamadneh –
it is good so far, however, I rated one star because: No vocal in the demo track, No guitar, No drums. so EQ process is weak. and I couldn’t refund my money. now I have to resume because I paid for something now I know it will not fulfill my needs. always make a soundtrack preview available.
Brett Morreau –
Amazing class. Lots of information to experiment with while mixing music. I’ve already tried a few tricks on some projects I’ve been working on and am amazed at how much my tracks have improved following advice in this class.

Good overall view of mixing but did feel like he made it up as he went along but was a great class 🙂
Kevin Tamaki –
I learned the true fundamentals of audio mixing. Very detailed course.
Dan Hooker –
Good course, beginners to intermediate skilled course.
Danylo Hromov –
Pretty good course for a complete beginner – although being an intermediate user I could find some really good tips as well (indeed thanks to instructor’s rich experience). It is a good strating point, but mind that there’s *a lot* to learn more on the subject.
However, it seems that Ableton is not the DAW the instructor uses the most…
Darko ÄŚalušić –
In all videos, there is that constant hum/noise in the background while speaking. It is hard to listen it on the headphones once you notice it.. but generally, ok, great how it’s summarized and good to find new wow for mixing. 🙂
Alex Koleber –
Really great content, class was neither boring nor too complex. Only complaint is the song used for the example; wish he would have used a pop or rock or even country tune rather than something with a mess of synths. Overall, very satisfied.
Fritz Gasner Alcindor –
J Cover everything I need help with and some I didn’t even know I was doing wrong… like Compressor before EQ in sound flow… He is good as what he does in the studio as well as teaching.. Awesome class!
Sven Engelhard –
Udemy User –
Overall, a good course for absolute beginners. Would recommend to purchase only if it is discounted again as it is all done on an electronic music track, so aboslutely no real instruments like guitar, real drums or any sax etc. even when the tutor states a couple of times, that if he had a track with such instruments he could do this and that – he explains, for example EQ and compression concepts for guitar on a synth track. A bit strange and very lazy in my mind.
