What you’ll learn

  • To develop reasonable eating habits that will lead you over time to great health.
  • By the end of this course you will have completed a 13×4 cycle on the HOW, the WHEN, the WHAT and the WHY of eating
  • By the end of the course you will have improved awareness of the role eating plays in health, in energy, in self-esteem and the physiology of energy storage.

There has to be a better way.

We must be doing something wrong in the developed world.

Cast your mind back to the last time you were out on the streets, or anywhere in and around people. Remember the people you saw walking around.

How was their energy, their posture, their movement, their shape?

Did you see the pinnacle of evolution in front of you? The most advanced species on the planet? Did you see boundless energy, sprightliness, bio-mechanical works of art?

Were most people just like a gazelle roaming free in the savannah, brimming with life-force, lean, powerful, alert, poised, balanced?

Unlikely.

If you’re in the UK, Europe, The United States and most countries in the developed world, you’re more likely to have seen people with low energy, poor posture, a ‘non-athletic’ shape and who quite frankly don’t look anything like a finely-honed wild animal.

They wouldn’t pass the gazelle test.

How is it possible that the most advanced species on the planet has somehow allowed itself to end up like this?

What did we miss?

Where have we gone wrong?

It can’t be proven (because technically nothing can be proven true) but I aim to present a compelling hypothesis that the single biggest contributor to this difference between humans and animals is the relationship with food.

Animals adapt to their environment. Humans adapt the environment to themselves.

That’s not a problem in itself, but it has led to a huge issue with how we do food.

Unlike most animals, we have adapted our environment so well that we don’t have to spend most of our time preoccupied with eating.

The human race as a whole is blessed with abundant food, and although there are many humans in the world who don’t have enough to eat, overall, we have conquered the problem with food supply. (The challenges with the global distribution of food are outside the scope of this programme.)

However, this has only come about relatively recently in evolutionary terms, and it is the root cause of many predominantly human health-related problems such as diabetes, high blood-pressure, heart conditions and even cancer.

The health of the developed world is in crisis, not because of circumstances beyond our control, but as a direct result of circumstances we have controlled: How we eat.

Most of the current causes of premature death in the developed world are as a direct result of how we’ve been eating.

Ideally, we’d like to live like animals in the wild. Chasing prey one day, dead the next, because all the organs and body’s systems have failed at about the same time.

Humans often die despite having most of their systems in good shape. Death occurs because one system has had a complete failure and brought about the early demise.

In this programme I’m going to be discussing why in fact we are, as a race, mostly eating poorly, and what we can all do about it.

I’ll be combining the wisdom of some of the greatest thinkers who have ever lived with recent findings from research studies and applying it to the business of eating.

But most relevantly, I’ll be giving you some specific things that you can do on a daily basis to solve the problem. If you want to.

I’ll be giving you some reasonably easy processes to follow, some ‘algorithms’ that almost anyone can do, irrespective of starting position.

I’ll be using an approach that has been used by thousands of people over the last 200 years, and which I’ve personally introduced to over 50,000 people, to bring about change in any aspect of their lives.

I’ve worked hard on this programme and I’m very pleased with it. So I do hope you enjoy it, find it helpful and above all, take action as a result.

All the best,

Tom

Some of the most profound truths are also the most simple. Much of this course material is how I tend to eat anyway. I’m happy with my body weight, but looking to eat healthier and have more energy.

This teaching only served to confirm what I have known for a long time but didn’t do anything about… until now. I have dealt with digestion issues for years. I had already made significant changes in my food choices and I knew I had to decrease the amount of food. We realize 60 year olds’ food requirement is significantly different than in our younger years. My BMI had been stable for years at 30 (the low end of obese) fluctuating within 3-5 lbs. And I continued to feel miserable. My husband struggles with food obsession and he too keeps returning to a weight of 240 lbs after episodes of “dieting”. Health issues abound which now became a strong motivator for making changes. However diets really don’t work! We have been listening to your teachings every morning for the last week, have felt wonderful applying the principles of healthy choices, stopping eating when no longer hungry, enjoying our eating experience, etc. We are now just adding exercise to our day to improve our fitness level. We’ve both lost 5 lbs each in one week and feel amazing, healthy, and without any digestive symptoms. We feel great physically and emotionally, without ever feeling deprived of any food. Our attitudes have changed in the midst! Thank you for sharing your findings! Greatly appreciated!

It’s a very good course. I had a lot of trouble with Tom’s style of delivery. A bit too over-eager and keen and cloying. But as the lectures went on he relaxed more, and I could focus better on the content. The content was very good. The message was clear. The quality of recordings was good. The PDFs were very professional. And I liked that he is a walking example of his own method. Despite a reluctant start (I was going to give up at Lecture 3) it turned out to be a great course. Thanks Tom!

so far so good. Seems to offer a lot of promise. Well presented and very thought-producing stuff. Maybe there is hope after all. A lot of common sense presented in a great framework.

The instructor’s delivery was clear and engaging. I enjoyed the fact that Tom emphasized that it wasn’t what you ate but the moderation that you ate your food in. The breakdown of each of the algorithm was clear and in-depth.

There are a lot of things to consider, which leaves one wondering why it’s “reasonable,” but given how it’s broken down and how you’re meant to focus on tasks differently over time, it’s not as overwhelming as you might think. I will be attempting to incorporate all of these in my daily life and I look forward to results.

This course really deserves 6 stars……….seriously, it does.
Finally a diet that is reasonable!!!!!!!! I firmly believe in this, 100%. Can’t wait to follow through on this…. For the last few months I have tried to create something similar to this, where I’d focus a week on chewing food slower, eating for nutrients, eating when I’m not hungry, etc, (a lot of them overlapped to these ones on this course) but I always seemed to be forgetting something, so I’d be adjusting my plan as I go. But it does work! Now here is a plan, already made, that covers EVERYTHING.
    Thank you Tom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO much!!!!

I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to use education over willpower to improve their relationship with food. I intend to put together a fridge poster to remind me of what I have learned until it becomes ingrained as a way of life. Bravo.

Really loved this course. The simple fact that most of us live in the story rather than what we really want for ourselves is powerful stuff. I am so excited to work with the algorithms and change my unconscious habits.

Very good quality information about what you put in your body and how you put it there. I followed his procedure before the course was over and I did not even want the food..I ate slowly and only ate a fraction of my lunch including the fruit. Thanks for this guidance I have never had it explained this way before…

In this course, tom has shown us how to do what we already know we should be doing, but we don’t. He has made eating correctly and sensibly, something easy and made eating a reasonable thing to do.

I was very excited by logical and convincing methods and follow them to the letter. I lost a pound or two, but in the long run there was no changes.
Maybe it’s just me. Maybe diets doesn’t work at all.
All in all, after several months I got tired and slowly come back to may old eating habits (and get my two pounds back).
