I would expect more demo from this course, especially when explaining the function of each menu setting. Examples could better help us to understand more efficiently instead of verbal explaining everything front of the camera.

This is a great way to learn your Sony camera! I knew quite a few things but this actually helped me know what everything does even if its something I may not use. I would recommend this class!.

There is nothing wrong with this course per se. But if you are a relatively inexperienced photographer, and this is your first Sony camera and it is NOT the same model used in the demonstration this course is not that helpful.
Osman Alfurayh –
I might do the presenter unjust by putting his review so low. The material is not in need of a teaching course.
Terri Paynter –
So far so good! I’ve had my camera for a while and want to better understand it. FYI, the mini port on the right side of the camera is also for charging the battery.
Paul Tompkins –
Yes, I’m definitely enjoying the course – lots of materials to cover (especially the Sony menu system) and many of the settings could be topics lasting several minutes. It’s a great introduction to my camera – WAY better than trying to slog through the instruction manual, and far more informative.
Richard Vawter –
I have a Sony A7C and this course looked interesting for improving my photography.
Ann Tardif –
The description should state that the course is based on the 7iii because its features differ from some of the other Alpha models. While there’s nothing wrong with the course, I find it lacks detailed explanations; it offers no real examples or demos that we can reference. It feels like we are getting ‘off the top of my head’ explanations, with the instructor providing info as he thinks of it.

Enjoyed the content and information provided. A quick and dirty run through to familiarize yourself with your Sony camera. Now onto some content on how to utilize each settings for the various types of photography shoots! Thank you!

As I haven’t had the opportunity to use my Sony cameras because of the current COVID situation,, it was good to have a refresher. However, more than that, the course taught me far more than I already know about the camera and using it. Greta course, really enjoyable.
