The course is indeed very good as a general refresher and overall guide. While I have learnt a few new things, overall it has been more of a refresher. I still have about 30 % left to complete and will be more definitive at that point. The course is a patchwork of modules from previous course material and new material specifically for the Sony A7Riii. There has been very little reference at all to the A7iii but that is more of an indicator of how closely the A7iii resembles the A7Riii than any specific criticism.

Yes, I like the short lessons. Though they are short, they are packed with information, yet not over whelming to a novice. I am getting to know my A7III very well. The tips are invaluable, it will cut years off of trying to understand why a picture came out the way it did. Great job, I am glad I am taking this class.

At the beginning, the Explanations are clear, in the right speed and with good examples.
But as it goes dipper, moving between the buttons and especially the menu items is too fast.
The long video which covers the entire menu system must be divided to separate videos by tabs or better – by real life functionality (everything related to video, then photography and so on. It is very difficult to find a specific explanation for a second watch.

I take amazing pictures with phone camera and photography is something i am passionate about. I thought i should invest in camera n start it professionally. But as soon as i got my sony a7iii, i was put off since i didnt understood its functionalities. I searched videos but everyone preferred different settings and no one explained the basics.
