As the two other above-mentioned courses by the same author, I must say that this course is clear, concise, to the point, yet extensive.
The author of this course, David Lee Martin also (as usual) has taken great care of the video aspect and the audio aspect of the lecture. The illustrations are very clear and didactic and the audio is very intelligible. The author also happens to be an excellent presenter / narrator with a clear and distinct voice.

I noticed this course is almost 4 years old now so researched Vellum. They have a program that does both paper back and e-books which I plan to buy. After receiving a $500.00 quote to have my book formatted, I decided to learn how to format myself. Since I work from a MAC, this class was a perfect option for me. The pace was perfect, sound quality was good and I could understand every word the instructor said. I’m sure Vellum has made improvements to their program the past 4 years. This was a great class. Would like to see another on Vellum’s formatting for print books.

I had great hopes for Vellum. While the teaching was pretty good they failed to mention that Vellum has some huge paperback flaws. It will not allow you to add blank pages in the front of a book like professional books have. It also will leave orphans or widows on a page when it claims it automatically fixes these issues. I emailed Vellum on many formatting issues with a paperback and they had no solution. I had to get a refund for their program as it is not needed for an eBook since Word makes it so easy.
