As the course is short, I think I would have preferred less functions explained but go more into detail with the functions actually explained.

The purpose of taking this course was to get feel of Capture one before deciding whether to move to capture one over Lightroom. Dan has made this quick start course really simple to understand. Though it covers very basics but now I know what more to look into before I decide. Had downloaded the trial version about 10 days back and was not able to use it properly. Now after this course would use with my own photos to take final decision. Thanks Dan for a wonderful course . Cheers !!!

Good course if you don’t know anything about this editing photo software, well explained but samples were pretty basic.

It was good for the sale price. Couldn’t tell sometimes if he said D – C – or Z
Should say C like Charlie would be helpful
I learned a lot
Thank you

There was confusion with photos being labeled as “Offline”. When you reset, and try to recreate the mask to follow the tutorial, an error showed up not allowing the color editor to select a mask. Most of the db file needed upgraded when opening, and I not sure that was relevant.

Der Kurs war OK. Die Untertitel im Englisch waren oft missverständlich (statt „Capture One” oft ”captcha” und vieles andere mehr). Deutsche Untertitel wären gut.
Tim Weragoda –
A good quick start guide. I downloaded the trial and started using it for a week before I took the course. I learned most of it by just playing with it but I learned a few new things from the course too.
Himmat Singh –
Good to quick-start on Capture One. Presupposes knowledge of Lightroom and PS. Sometimes too fast to get a grasp.
Gordon Backman –
Great material.
Mevan Alles –
Good short course to learn the basics and familiarize your self for a workflow in capture one. The learning’s can be applied to other versions of capture one.
As a suggestion for Dan I can mention that, it would have been nicer if more suitable photos were used to demonstrate the affect of certain editing tools than reusing the same generic set of photos.
