Qi Gong for Beginners : Practical Beginners Guide To Qi gong : Understanding and Applying Qi Gong For Beginners
Qi Gong (QG) is one of the 5 branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) along with Acupuncture, Herbal medicine, Dietetics and Massages.
IMPORTANT NOTE : the course is mainly a broad presentation of Qi Gong principles and benefits. As such it is not meant for the student to actually start studying the technic of Qi Gong in its details (but this will be the subject of other courses I put on UDEMY though).
The course includes 5 downloadable PDF documents and 9 videos
-
5 “explanation”
-
4 “actual demonstrations” with some voice comments in the back ground
-
in the PDF documents, I tend to be more academic
-
in the videos, I share more of my personal experience since I have been studying and practicing several styles of Qi Gong for over 20 years now.
My wish is that you’ll find it incentive enough to go and explore Qi Gong planet for yourself.
It’s a wonderful journey and by all means, very worth to deeply improve our personal life as well as our living together on planet Earth.

I liked the course a lot. I’m just a little sad it’s so short. I would like to know a lot more, but I can’t complain, nor do I want to. Sonia Bruce seems to be a very likable teacher.
Loretta Sylvestre –
The course is aptly named, in that it introduces the concepts of qi gong and stops there. I confess I may have hoped for a little bit of how-to. However, Sonia is a very pleasant and clearly knowledgeable instructor and I will enjoy future classes from her.

Likedthesceneryofthetrees & sunshine in the background….Thecontent is good…HoweverI was lookingfor something easier to do…some of the movements were too complicated for me…I like very simple basic exercises…The teacher was very nice:-)
Mimmo Gasbarri –
Wonderful introduction, Not only is it a well organized overview, but it offers very practical exercises. Nice course from a lovely and caring person.
Tyler Stratman –
Great for someone who already has a prior sense of intuition about the nature of energy in relation to the physical body. Probably wishy-washy to someone who doesn’t comprehend this subtle aspect of existence… although if someone were to feel this way, they likely wouldn’t be taking this course. All in all, good so far!

Gostei muito do curso por ser introdutório. A instrutora é muito simpática e calma nas explicações. Mas gostaria que tivesse mais explicações com detalhes dos nomes e sequência dos movimentos.

Qi Gong for Beginners is a great overview of this ancient energy practice. The supplemental material is the perfect accompaniment to the demonstrations of movements in the video, and the quizzes reinforce key concepts for clarity and a solid base to build upon.

I purchased this course hoping to learn about the practice of Chi gong, but this course offers just a very superficial overview. The exercises shown are interesting but it’s not a “learn to do” course it’s just a quick preview. So no practice of the movements and positions, which is what I wanted.
The information given is very superficial, just barely touching the surface, so no physical practice and lightweight information I can find for free on the internet.
technically the videos and audio are very average, the sound is low and the exercises only shown from one perspective.
I would not have bought this course.
