David gets into some of the minute details of various parts and functions of the Reason DAW without making you feel lost and confused. He gives you a good layperson’s explanation of a process or function, then he gives detailed specifics while recording a part or demonstrating on a song in progress. After that he gives a short summary of that particular function or process. He’ll teach you how to navigate the Reason DAW creatively and confidently. You’ll learn to harness Reason’s power to create music in a more creative, hassle-free way, while also learning practical and fun ways to experiment with the many sounds and effects. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!

I found the course extremely helpful. My only gripe is that although it taught me how to do the complicated stuff, I had to look up the very basics elsewhere.
Christian Calvo –
Pretty good course, learned alot of neat tricks and shortcuts as well as how to use the mixing console and other vital functions in the program. Anyone using reason can benefit from this course it’s really good.

This course is good for those who don’t know Reason very well and wants to familiarise with the interface of the program as well as some main features. It does not have tips and tricks for further improvement of your skills if you already know all of that, which they offer in their other master classes.

Excellent course. I’d just bought Reason 10, and this course has been a brilliant and hugely time saving investment for me. – Thank you.

I’m seeing some things that I would like to try myself. It is helping me to be more acquainted with everything. Can’t wait to go over again when I’m on Reason!
Basil Simbahon –
not as in depth as i expected but it does a very great job for a refresher…

I like him he is calm and really seems to enjoy teaching. I wish this was updated to Reason 11 with the new Reason+ Companion. Also it would be nice to have a course on how to use the Rack in other DAWS like Logic X now that the rack can be used as a standalone because a lot of the stuff you do in Reason is different as a standalone. But as this course is its becoming more and more enjoying as I get used to his inflections and style of teaching.

Beyond perfect. Seriously awesome. I’ve had Reason 9.5 Essentials for about 4 yrs but haven’t really dived in. During this COVID-19 lockdown in New Zealand I decided it was the perfect time to buy a course with the goal of being able to make my own rock/metal tracks. All the audio stuff I knew before was from: Guitar, and experience as a Premiere Pro Video Editor. Gotta say I’ve finished the course, its been about 5 days – and now I’m fully weaponised. I can open reason, dial in a tone, lay down some tracks, add drums, and make it sound OK. This course is like a bootcamp, like a catalyst that gives you what you need as quickly as possible so you can experiment yourself without the fumbles and frustrations. Thank you so much for making this.

Being self taught this enlightened me to parts of the program I was unfamiliar with. Now I’m looking forward to experimenting with them.

It appears to be. But I kept falling asleep on the soft sofa and came in the kitchen to paint and I am just listenining to it. I will watch it again.
