I thought it was really awesome how you can play any song by ear within 10-20 minutes. A lot of times, people who are self taught, and/or can “play by ear”, are only able to play by ear to a certain extent. And usually they don’t know how to read sheet music, so they are limited, but you are the real deal. Your work on YouTube is amazing. I also really liked the fact that you still believe the ability to read sheet music is important to be a great musician, but that you shouldn’t be heavily reliant on it, and how you believe the two work together. I already started learning cornet with a face to face teacher and wanted to learn piano. That’s when I came across Amosdoll on YouTube before lockdown and used his video to learn Pirates of the Carribean in class. He’s not like other channels on YouTube and will actually go through the steps of playing the song with you. Very helpful music teacher in general!
