This course takes the student on a journey of deeper understanding of the mechanics of the three-stage Pranayama as taught in the Art of Living SKY Breath Workshop.
We take a look at the physics governing the (not-so) simple process of Breathing. We link this understanding from Physics to how it applies to the process of Pranayama.
We further refine the hand positions and introduce some subtle corrections to the practice of the Pranayama process to experience it’s deep benefits.
This course is broken in 10’ish minute segments that could be learned at your own pace. Each section has an accompanying Quiz to refine our understanding of the section.

Science behind the Spirituality – Sandeep has done a great job bringing it all together. Now that the science/explanation for why we have to do what we have learnt, we need to integrate it into our daily routine. It was a nice leaning experience backed up with Scientific explanations! !Since I had not studied Science beyond Secondary School levels and that too some 27 years ago, I found some of it a bit too technical; however, I understood the crux of the explanations which is what I reckon ultimately matters. I feel that it would be a bit difficult for a lay person to understand some of the explanations and Scientific terms /Jargons. That apart, it was pretty enlightening and useful !!!

Question 1: How do you control the direction of a kite’s flying ?
Answer: By pulling the string attached to the kite to the direction u want kite to fly.
Question 2: How do you control the thoughts in your mind ?
Answer: By using your breath. To make it work, you have to breath in a method taught in Art of living Happiness Program (it is called as Sudarshan Kriya technique) . It will only take 30 minutes of your daily time for practice.
