“Amazing Course!

I’ve just completed the course, it is well explained and worth the investment. This course really provides whatever it says and I always love courses from Robert. He is a great instructor.”

“Stock Photo Ninja!

Mr. Scot’s course is direct and perfectly informative, taught with passion and a knack for getting to the crux of the subject matter. As a life-long point-and-shoot photographer, Mr. Scot has changed the way I shoot my pictures, and has opened my eyes to the money that can be made by turning my love for shooting into passive income. THANK YOU!” _________________________________________________________________________

I take you from the inside of the camera to the inside of the stock photo agency business.

After a section on the ingenious mechanics of the camera, this course concentrates on how to sell those high-quality photos you’ve taken.

In this course, I teach you how to turn your love of photography into long-term, passive income.

Today is the day to start; there’s NEVER been a more profitable or more accessible time to sell your photos to stock photography agencies.

When I started shooting stock photography with my Canon AE1, back in the 1980s, getting your photos sold through stock photo agencies required an extraordinary and expensive effort – from shooting to developing the photos to finding the agencies to getting approved.

The process has become much simpler these days – but the competition is fierce.

By sticking to the basics – and establishing a work-flow that ensures that you’re creating the highest quality images in the appropriate format – you can quickly move to the head of the line – and start selling your photos right away.

_________________________________________________________________________

I shoot with a Nikon D800 – a truly remarkable photographic tool – but these days, there are high-quality smart phones that have what it takes to capture world-class images.

It’s NOT about the camera! The key to making money in the stock photo business is your creativity, and attention to detail.

This course is designed to save you money and time – by discussing specifically what the top stock photo agencies expect – AND what they reject

I discuss which categories are hot, and which are not.

And, I list not only my favorite stock photo agencies to work with (and who are willing to work with YOU), but I’ve included a downloadable, clickable .pdf list of links to more than two dozen agencies to whom YOU should be submitting.

Now, let me be clear, this is NO get-rich-quick scheme. You’ll need to commit yourself to a substantial amount of effort and detailed diligence. But, follow my plan step by step, and you will have your photos uploaded and optimized, and selling in no time.

Who this course is for:

  • Stock Ninja Photo can turn you from someone who loves to shoot pictures into a professional photographer
  • Just a casual photo shooter? You might want to skip this course … Stock Ninja Photo is specifically designed to increase the income of an aspiring pro photog.

A very well put together course. It is filled with tips and tricks on how to start and what you need to do (and not to do) to beckome a stock photographer. I liked the presentation not just lightening the positive sides but also all the work required. Sound was bad from time to time but no problem hear whats said. Instructor knows his theme from the heart, not just reading from a paper. I think the lecture about aperture, mirrors could be left out.. it didnt fit in with rest of the course and ppl who take this cours should know their camera before start a course like this. All and all a very good experience

Lots of useful information regarding how stock agencies work and what they are looking for (and not looking for). With help from this course, I recently got my first image accepted by and agency and will revisit this course to reinforce what I learned.

Although the instructor seems genuine and a great person, I found I went through most of the course getting very basic information. Even the last few lectures were rehashes of what you’d read from a stock agency’s submission requirements. I can’t say that I can recommend this course–certainly not at full price.

The beginning of Robert Scot’s “Photography Ninja” starts out promising, because he demonstrates that he is a professional, not just an Internet marketer who decided to make and sell a course on a hot topic. The course also starts out on a good note, because Mr. Scot gives an excellent crash course in how a camera works, and the importance of aperture, shutter speed, iso, and of course light… However, when the actual “meat” of the course is delved into, the subject matter becomes flat, repetitive, commonsensical, and excrutiatingly boring. I think Robert Scot is a genuine guy who means well, but I gained absolutely nothing out of this course that I didn’t already know from common sense and a basic Google search of “How to Make Money with Stock Photography.” I’m definitely requesting a refund for this, even at a discounted rate – had I paid the full amount for this course I would have been super irate.

The instructor was very knowledgeable about the subject. This is a good beginner course for photographers as it focuses a lot on how to take photos and functions of the camera.

The information on actual stock photo tips was limited and seemed to be common sense to someone who is experienced in photography.

I think more examples of photos and what makes a good photo would be helpful. Overall there was a lot of useful information.

It is very informative! I wonder how much I will retain. I reserved the best score to the end of course when I will know how in depth the instruction is. After finishing the course I still find it an excellent introduction for a beginner. I know I learned valuable information that will come in handy.

Really clear, best description yet of how a camera works. Excellent focus on what matters to agencies and also a great benchmark for evaluating and critiquing your own work. Really great succinct yet not too basic course.
