My primary interest was the camera functions. I do my editing with Final Cut Pro X. However, I was pleased to experiment with LumaFusion just to see what is possible in mobile editing without iMovie.

Great course that walked me through what everything was in both Filmic Pro and Lumafusion. I’ve had both of these apps for a while now and didn’t know how to use them that well, so this was the perfect course! I am so happy to now know what I’m looking at when I open these apps and know what to do for what I want to create! Exciting! The instructor has a great manner of teaching everything step-by-step and includes a lot of great pro tips along the way. The only thing is he mentioned so much cool gear that goes into this that I now have a shopping list of things I want to get that I’ll have to save up for. He did also mention a few in-app purchases for the apps mentioned and what they do, so that’s great to know what those extra things are for also. Overall definitely a wonderful investment, I’m very pleased. Will probably refer back to this course as I practice my video skills initially. The only thing I would recommend the instructor do is create a few files for gear and apps mentioned in the videos, as I would have liked to have had all those in one place. I can just refer back to my notes, though, and rewatch for now. Thank you for the course! I learned so much!

I was expecting more details and step by step explanation. I was able to understand this course as I already had little knowledge about film making and editing. A complete beginner will not understand anything from this course. For me the course was helpful and worth it.
