I think this course should be described as beginner to intermediate level. Although I learned a number of useful things it did not cover as much in the way of advanced technique as I had hoped it would. Presentation was generally good but the rapid mouse cursor movement was quite annoying visually and made it difficult to see what selections were being made on-screen. Overall I am satisfied with it and feel it was worthwhile.

For a complete beginner, this course will provide value in terms of introduction to LR, its UI and basic functions. The author obviously feels at home while working in LR, and the students can see how he edits his pictures. However, he doesn’t go into details why he applies certain changes which makes the impression that he’s just playing around and that if you try too you’ll achieve similar results.
For complete beginners, this course is quite good. For anything advanced, or if you want to know why and when to apply certain change, you should look further.
For the discounted price, this course provides really good value; not so sure for the full price.

Nice course, gives you the basic of Lightroom. The first part of the course is really slow and tend to repeat the same thing over and over while the second part of the course – the most interesting – goes really fast without much explanation.

Course started off promising with an introduction to the Lightroom interface. Was a decent 101 orientation of where everything is. As the course progresses, it becomes more of an “open a photo and mess with the customizations” recording. As we reach the end, the instructor seems to lose interest.
