I really enjoy the case study, seeing real world footage combined with applications is huge. I like how you cut right to the meat and potatoes of the information and don’t have 30 min of bs to fill in the videos. Quick, detailed and informative, I really like these keep it up.

I felt that hunting was a poor choice of subject matter. I was unable to finish the fist half of this tutorial. I simply couldn’t bring myself to see an animal killed for sport. The footage is extremely graphic. Viewer discretion is advised.

Hi Logan
I thought the course was great for a beginner like me
However during the colour grading exercise things got a little to fast
I would really like to know how your decision to move from Gamma or Lift or from log to primary by looking at the scope I did look at the image and tried to keep my scope as close to yours End result was pretty good but I wasn’t 100% sure as to what was going on
Still thanks I have already put what I have learnt so far to good use

program is quite difficult..for me was more important to learn about editing then color grading..teacher was ok but i think that he assumed that most of us already had some experience with davinci resolve..anyway it was useful but not entirely as i imagined..

The Person teaching this course is going way to fast for someone who has
never use Davinci Resolve software before. I would need to watch this course
maybe 21 times to learn it, to me he is performing and not teaching.
Werner Lekven –
Great course! Learned a lot about the software and also got many useful tips from the casestudies. However, would have liked to learn a bit about the sound tools as well.

it works, there is a lot of information. I wish he went a little slower when he is doing adjustments. well , a lot slower. Over all it’s a very informative course
Ryan Little –
Great course to introduce you to how Davinci works. Easy to follow. Well worth the time!
Don Barton –
Great course! One comment: it sounds like his throat is a little try at times, and he should drink some water. Speak from your chest, not from your throat.

I wanted to give this course 5 stars, because it’s really not bad and the instructor is decent. But I don’t think that would be honest of me. While project files are provided, I feel like this is more of a tour than a hands on course, due to the way it’s presented. It’s difficult to explain, but following along with the instructor doesn’t feel fluid; it feels a bit…scattered. It would greatly benefit from a step-by-step project based approach, rather than it’s more presentation based approach.

So far, this course has been great. I’m not too far in at the moment, but the instructor seems very knowledgeable and is going slow enough that he can show off all of the feature of the software in detail (but not so slow that it becomes tedious)

Great info , hard to see details but still doable
