So far I’m enjoying the course. The material is being taught in a clear and concise matter. I like taking a quiz soon after getting the material, so I can keep a clear guage on my consumption of the lesson being taught. Also it keeps immediate attention on just what you missed, even though you may think it a small thing. In medicine peoples lives are in your hands . You don’t want to make mistakes, if they can be helped. 1st rule : 1st cause no harm.
Happy that I took this course, very educational for me, feeling like I’m ready to go out and earn a living doing this. I feel confident in my training to the point , I would be able to take on this role and excel in it. Considering taking the HIPPA course next , just to expand on my knowledge of the work I will be doing. I was a little panicky about the exam. But our teacher prepared us well and I DID do great in it. Looking forward to completeing my next class soon. Money well spent.

This was a great course. I strongly advise purchasing the ICD-10 CM book. The book helps with a greater understanding of how to look up codes.

Each section was very brief with a 5 question quiz. There wasn’t really much teaching going on. Everything that was said/printed in each section could have been read in each chapter. Yes, doing the quizzes and the final test gave practice at medical coding, but this course is definitely not for someone trying to just get into medical coding. There needs to be more instruction for it to feel like that.
