This course does exactly what it sets out to deliver.
It doesn’t offer the reading side of Korean, but it never claims to. I can already read Hangul so the read-along PDF’s were a very useful addition to grasp the sounds by seeing them while listening.
As an intro to the language this course has been great, it doesn’t offer too much but forces you to practice, practice and practice.
If there was a continuation of this course I would happily buy it.

This course is unique! It is thought through and truly learner-centric in my opinion. You can see the effort and heart the instructors put into creating this learning experience. This course focuses on the “enjoyment” aspect which automatically increases learning and allows room to explore and make mistakes without being hard on yourself. At least this is what I have experienced. And I must say, at the beginning I had to learn to let go my perfectionism wanting to understand every sound in detail, why some specific consonants sound differently and let go of the fact not knowing how to write them. Being able to speak in such a short period is so empowering that I can now confidently start learning Korean in depth, starting with the alphabet.
Also, I find it very thoughtful to provide us with the content material and next steps in case we want to pursue learning Korean. Thank you so much Jeremy!

This course was great! The creators of this course have put in a lot of effort to ensure that sentence structure and pronunciation are at a decent enough level to converse in Korean. It achieves exactly what it says it will do.
I will say that the woman spoke quite fast (even when I changed the playback speed to the slowest setting). It would be better if she said it once in normal speed and then repeated it in a slower speed.
I enjoyed Jeremy telling us to “go with me on this” for every random visual mnemonic he created.
It would also be beneficial to provide at least a document of the visual mnemonics and their English translations. Both instructors work great together and I highly recommend the course.
