Learn How 2 Dance – Bachata (beginner) is a comprehensive course teaching you how to dance Bachata and be able to feel comfortable dancing socially. It is a 16 lecture course lasting a total of 3 hours. Each lesson will build on the previous lesson, so re-take lessons if you need more practice before moving onto the next lesson.
This course is a MUST TAKE if you don’t want to be that guy/girl standing on the sidelines while all your friends and coworkers are up dancing having fun.

I am new to Bachata and have been dancing for almost 2 months in the Raleigh/Durham area. This course has greatly helped to understand the basic moves that people are performing at the social dances that I attend. With practice, it has helped me go from only understanding the basic step to being able to perform easy patterns and turns with no problem.
The course does a nice job of showing you what the move is supposed to look like from demonstration before explaining it in detail in the breakdown section. This is excellent because many videos I have seen begin teaching a move or pattern step by step before you actually know what it is supposed to look like which can be confusing.
In the video the instructor Darren does a great job explaining not only the basics of how to perform each move with footwork but he also explains key points that guys need to know in order to be good leaders. This is not to be understated because for men we want to be good leaders and despite what skill you have as a Bachata dancer, being a good leader will ultimately improve your desirability to be danced with. I am noticing this as i am growing with the course.
For any beginner who is interested in learning Bachata, I highly recommend purchasing this course.

Very good course! This course explained the details very clearly, like how to move the hips, the transition between different positions and signaling. The 6 handholds and 4 turns framework can create lots of variations to keep things interesting.
