It is a good start for beginners, helping them to learn from scratch and a slow but progressive and gradual approach is what I expect furthermore. I see why a lot of people liked this course- Alex is a really fun and engaging teacher. However, there are SO MANY basic elements which should have been covered in a course for A1-A2 level, like “describing a person”, “how to buy things at a shop”, the basic imperative form (NOT just the verbs “werben” and “sollen”) and so on.
And in the course itself there are so many errors, let alone the fact that for “54: What is a healthy diet” and the pdf of the the form from “48” Fill out a form” were not attached. Alex also did not explain what the German version of ” -‘s ” (the possessive) is, he only explained possessive pronouns.

The course is great. The teacher seems to love to he does, because it shows. I enjoyed all the additional information he talked about in each lesson and knew how to make any subject more interest. I really wish there was more emphasis on some of the trickier aspects of the German language, but then again, it is a course aimed at beginners. Highly recommend!

The videos are too long. The slides are not clear. They are blurry and not bright enough for the vision. In order for the students to be able to read the content of the slides, the writing must be bigger. The teacher presented the basic information well. However, It is my opinion that he must explain certain sections of the grammar somewhat more, in order for the students to be able to understand the grammar well. I learned a lot from this module. The teacher presented some interesting information about Germany.

It might be difficult for beginners to follow the lessons since the videos are entirely in German but it is really helpful to be more familiar with sound of the language. For German learners with prior knowledge, the course is very helpful to review/polish the basics of the language.
