This course is so frustrating the videos are never working and it keeps taking you to a website Frenchpodcast101 where they are constantly trying to sell you something. Very disappointed with this course.

The videos in sections 1, 2, and 3 were fantastic. They built on each other and introduced important phrases and vocabulary. Sections 4 and 5 had videos unrelated to each other to build listening comprehension. Those videos aren’t bad but they aren’t good either. In some of the conversations one speaker will be speaking normally but it sounds like the other has had their audio slowed on the computer to .25x and it’s almost too slow to understand. The course started to feel a little incohesive at this point which was exacerbated by each video being 2-4 minutes long with a long intro and outro on every video, which made it seem as though half of the course is just watching ads for FrenchPod101.com
To compound matters, after each 2-4 minute lesson there is a 5 question, true/false quiz. Unfortunately these quizzes are terrible. For the false translations it seems like the answers just came from some arbitrary question bank, and the true answers are sometimes identical and not always translated. eg dog -> dog? True… dog -> laser beam spaceship? False… But either way there is no explanation below the quiz which is a valuable learning resource that this course lacks.

I think it is a good course, it would be great if every time the speaker/presenter says something in French, the text of it is visible in the video. It will help in understanding spellings, silences, conjugations and everything else we have learnt before, It might also expand vocabulary or at least drill some common words in our heads.

Overall the course is well arranged and professionally presented. One suggestion is, the lessons were having a higher pace than suitable for a complete beginner. Hence it was difficult to follow the pronounciations in the example conversations in last modules. This could have been taken care of.
