Great course. Very concise and to the point. Easy to understand. I wish I would have spent my college tuition on Steve’s courses instead.” –Adam O
#3 The actual instructor answers ALL QUESTIONS. The unfortunate truth is that on Udemy most instructors do not answer questions at all even though Udemy provides a spot in the course for that. How disappointing. Other instructors have a “Team” that is really a low cost outsource provider who answers questions and provides general 1 or 2 sentence answers, if that. What a rip off. The instructor in this course answers all questions with detailed responses and provides supplemental links and resources to support the answer. Many students like to go though and read the Q&A and consider it like a blog that really aids learning on its own.
“Steve has never disappointed me! I love all his courses. And love it that he answers all your questions. I’ve learned a lot from him and looking forward to learning more. He makes it easy to understand and gives you a broad understanding of the situation. I love his case study. Glad I found him!” -Thu D

“I am really enjoying the course – for years I have wanted to learn how to pick stocks and I feel like I have finally found someone who can teach me the correct way to analyze stocks in a very clear step by step way that I can understand and apply myself – in just the first lesson, I have pulled up a couple of stocks that I was interested in and I can see that their payout ratios are at a level that are too risky for my portfolio – if it wasn’t for this course, I might have invested and there is a good chance I would have ultimately lost money – very well done.”-– Kathleen K

Riccardo Manazza –
I really enjoyed the course as it was simple to understand and very well put together. Now I can confidently begin investing and researching all the available options out in the markets.

Many topics are covered and the explanations were clear and easy to understand. I started investing a few years back but there were so many things I did not understand until I took this course. Now, I am more confident to analyze and pick stocks, and I can’t wait to apply why I have learnt! Thank you for putting in so much effort to craft this course!

For someone like me, who’s heard some of the terms and had some general familiarity, but really needed a thorough overview, this is the best course imaginable! Particularly liked that he’s not advocating for any particular strategy, but lets us know the relative merits of each, and let us decide for ourselves!
If there’s anything I might suggest, it would just be that the quizzes maybe be a little tougher/more questions to reinforce the material.
For future students, I’d definitely recommend having another screen open, and follow along at finviz or tradingview etc., taking a look “in the wild” at what he’s talking about.
Demel Gayle –
I just finished the course and I loved it. I feel very confident in my ability to invest now and stocks don’t seem scary anymore. (I’ll come back in the next 6 months – 3 years to give an update as to the growth I’ve experienced.) Now I’m a person that likes to rush my way through life and because of that I typically take 1 step forward and 3 steps back I’m learning to relax and slow down a bit.
I’ve always been interested in stocks and decided to take this course because others didn’t click with me or it didn’t provide even half the information that is provided in this course so I can definitely recommend this course to you all.
I would like to address something, don’t take this course with the mindset of making money quickly, or else you’ll be the ones making 1 step forward and 3 steps back, take your time and go through the course. I’m gonna go through it once more while I use it to assist me with making investment decisions and you should too.
It’s always best to watch every course you take whether this course or others twice 1st time for info, no notes just watch and enjoy what a teacher has to say. Second time to solidify things in your head and do some practice. In this case, you could go over this course a second time when using it when making stock purchases until the content is committed to memory.
I might not have given the best review but I can tell you that Mr.B provided a great course.
Thank you Mr.B for giving me the opportunity to learn how to invest, manage my risk and deal with the taxes. It means a lot and I wish you and your family the best.

Ilay Harash –
100% Would recommend, I personally have quite a few Udemy courses that I enjoyed over the past couple of years yet this is the first time the teacher at the course was so willing to help and answer questions so thoroughly. I truly believe this is the peak of Udemy courses, awesome course and awesome teacher!
Tyler Sklenka –
Instructor is passionate, kind, funny and makes complicated subjects easy to understand. 14 hours went by quick.
Suggestions for improvement – I would have found it helpful if he went more into detail on the ratio sections (fundamentals) on the significance of each ratio, how it can be used, and limitations (Low PE is usually better, but there are limitations as to why a PE may be low, etc). 5 minute videos doesn’t explain it well enough.
Still wasn’t sure when P/B would be helpful and when it wouldn’t be. Again – limitations of these ratios. For PEG – how is the Growth aspect calculated. Are these estimates by analysts?
Either way. Steve was a great guy and I learned some good things. Good bang for your buck if you bought the course on discount.
P S K Abdul Nawaz –
Great course. I have gained a good amount of knowledge about stock market investing in detail as a newbie.
Thanks Steve Ballinger 🙂

The class was pretty basic, more than half the course is about how to use websites rather than information on stocks.
