Tips and tricks to get nice interior design pictures
In this course I cover all the tricks and tips to take photos and retouch photos for interior design. It can be quite tricky to take nice photos when it comes to interior design, so I have put together a step-by-step course for beginners and advanced photographers. This course covers 8 years of experience as an interior designer photographer and I took photos of over 200 hotels in Paris.
We will go over the basics of shooting interior design, how to shoot small spaces, basics on retouching interior design, basics on retouching details in a photo, how to erase elements in a photo, making a high key effect on a white room and how to retouch the front of a hotel.
Who this course is for:
- Beginner and advanced photographers
- Photographers that have a specific interest in interior design

Enjoyable course, it is obvious that Serge loves what he is doing and passionate end enthusiastic about it so that is contagious. I use exclusively Photoshop as Photoshop raw was already existing when I got into photo editing. My greatest challenge in interior real estate photography is that how to properly focus ( he mentioned once that he uses aoutofocus, but it is one point or general aoutofocus?) My pictures are relatively sharp using a general autofocus but I really would like them be sharper without doing too much with them and making them crunchy in PS. Every video advise you differently. Also how to deal with windows that has zero window treatment. How to get rid of the blue highlight that windows that has no curtains or blinds cast on wood floor. I very much like him, his produces stunning photos sometimes a bit too dramatic for my taste bat that is subjective.I also realized that most people love dramatic so I am pushing myself into that direction. I think he is great and and easy to understand.I like when he says police border instead of border police. English is also my second language so I totally understand. Kudos for Serge. I wanted this course for a very long time and on this site the price was finally acceptable for me so I am happy.

Pretty good course, you will learn a lot but may feel that some things are missing. Which for me are:
Making more detail shots and the retouching of the detail shot. Also the retouching of normal home living rooms, kitchens, etc. with normal daylight and open curtains. At the moment it’s only hotel rooms. Other than that it’s great.

The course was great full of neat tricks. There is room for improvement however; I would have like to see some home interiors.

Serge Ramelli is an amazing instructor ! I have purchased many of his courses and all of them are great! He is fun, very knowledgeable, he goes straight to the point and I have learnt so much with him!

The practical examples of actually taking the photos are very good and extremely helpful. I wish there were more of them. The software part gets a bit technical but still useful and the continual repetition helps it sink in. Overall very good.

Dicas excelentes, o profissional repassa o conhecimento numa linguagem bem acessível, de maneira objetiva. A forma como ele transforma fotos comuns em fotos excelentes, usando as ferramentas mais comuns do PS e LR é impressionante.

Mr, Serge is an amazing photographer but I was expecting more from this course. But I learned some good point from it.

Even though there are some interesting tricks to learn, the course is in my opinion below average. I don’t understand how the instructor doesn’t use nor teach HDR and bracketing to photograph rooms with windows, and also, he closes curtains?? Most of my hotel clients want the photos to show the views, so that’s pretty important.
Video and audio have rather poor quality. The instructor consistently makes very unprofessional comments. He also makes mistakes all the time and has to go back often, which is very annoying and makes him look like he didn’t prepare the lesson at all. Most of the time, he’s just wandering around Lightroom experimenting until he gets something he likes. Problem is, his taste seems to be very bad, and the pictures reflect that. Not worth the money at all.

Excellent video. Serge explains everything very clearly as he is editing. He tells the viewer why and how to use particular features including all the necessary key strokes. I particularly enjoyed how he utilises the radial and graduated filters to add drama to his photos. I learned a great deal from this video. Overall, a good watch. Highly recommended

I found the instructor wasn’t sure enough of his teaching on some places which made me confused too. But overall I learned a lot of photography skills and photo editing.
