Ever hear the saying “Don’t work with kids and animals”?
There is a reason for that saying, because when you first attempt to work with kids, they can be very difficult to photograph. They never sit still, don’t want to do what you suggest, have temper tantrums and how do you get them to smile properly – not that fake smile?

I really enjoyed this course. It’s filled with lots of useful tips and information. I don’t have lots of experience photographing kids, but after taking this course, I feel more prepared. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in photographing children.

I was very unsure of how to interact with kids until this course. Learnt quite a few things I didn’t know too. Brent explains things in simple terms & also tells you why he does certain things & why he uses the equipment he does. Cant wait to put all I learned into practice. Thanks Brent!

Some really great advice on photography technique, equipment, social skills and just general tips to make the most of photographing kids.
The lecturer is really passionate about the subject, knowledgeable and easy to understand.
The only negative comment at all would be the quizzes are not so great right now, but all round a great course which I would recommend to anyone who wants to take great photos of kids.

This course is targeted to photography of kids yet there is about 10 total minutes of tips to photograph kids. And the rest and including that time are basic photography tips that can be gained in better courses or throw common understanding. The quizzes are terrible. 95% of the participants are failing due to the fill-in-the-blank answers, which most don’t even have answers. Photoediting is done on older software with plugins that are barely used. I do not recommend this course.

Nice course, with quite a bit of tips.
For my knowledge and from a technical point of view (camera settings, lenses, software) probably a tad short.
Still, it has been worth to me.

I’m a beginner and the hints are useful. Good tips about connecting with children, type of equipment to use and post shoot routines. This is well worth the money and time. You did a thorough job without overwhelming the learner. The suggestions for editing were quite valuable. As an untrained beginner it affirmed some of the techniques I had been using to edit along with providing additional ideas. Finally, providing ideas on how to share photographs is quite useful. Thanks for your time. The only question I had was were you shooting at the because in continuous mode? Again, great course.

Good course for a person who already knows the camera techniques …Its good to understand how to behave with kids to keep them in action. Also good content to understand quick photo editing.

Rzeczowe i przydatne informacje, przedstawione w przejrzysty sposób. Fajnie wyjaśniona obróbka zdjęć. Polecam!

I really enjoyed the course, as it gets to the point and covers the fundamentals. I’d love more technical stuff, but this is great for an initial course and really it’s the practise that you put in after this that counts. Great. I have my first kids’ shoot on Sunday and I now feel like I have put in some groundwork. Many thanks. Excellent.

The only time I have done a formal photo shoot of kids was for my church home schooled children. It was a cotton field and the pictures mostly turned out good as it was about 1:30 in the afternoon. I am doing it again this year but want the pictures to be better.
