At first I thought the content was a bit repetitive, but I quickly realised that Phil has to do it that way so that you can compare the way green screen is handled across the different software packages. Absolutely, I’m a complete beginner, the delivery is at the right pace and so far I understand all that has been covered. I’ve already got the confidence that I can do this. PS. I’m 66 years old, reasonable IT software user but nowhere near my Children/Grandchildren ability, enjoying learning how to do this. I also like the way the Instructor is in a small TV box in the corner of the screen so you can see him while he’s doing the lessons on the program showing in main screen, which is better than just a voice over.
Update Tue 26th May 2020: Just wanna add after going through the course I dived into doing my first ever green screen. Prior to course I had got a green screen and home-made 4 x 100w daylight bulb diffused light boxes, simple but as a beginner they did a basic job. With my new copy of Final Cut Pro X I did a few clips of me just in my little spare room doing some fun things to make a Birthday dvd to send to my granddaughter. Guess what, I was able to edit the clips, add some birthday music, blank out the green screen and add one of the generic backgrounds. No prior experience, and it ended up not bad. I’ve still got to revise the course and refine technique for next time, but first time ever and I made a green screen dvd. Big shout out to Phil, thanks you made it easy for me 🙂

It is a good match, my only complaint is that I have to go through the other videos for other software that I won’t be using. I’m only concerned with Premiere Pro… however to finish the whole class I have to go through the other ones. Everything else is very good.
