Udemy has some of the best courses out there. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of them. The introduction is misleading. I expected a search-savvy pro delivering hard-won tricks and expertise conversationally. A dry subject made approachable and interesting. Nope. The entire course consists of black & white bullet points read to you in robotic, broken English. If you’re an IT student, you’ll probably get it. If not, the information is there, but you’ll have to work for it. To be fair, the PDF downloads provide a useful reference. Live (but silent) searches are performed on Google to demonstrate each point. Expect lots of rewinds. If you’re looking for clarity and real-world examples, it’s sorely lacking. You’ll have to fill in the blanks and do some digging on your own to gain the understanding and proficiency you were promised.
