There are a lot of blogs about Orgmode, and they usually only covers part of it. This course does a great job on teaching the whole system. I learned a lot new ideas, usage and tricks. Highly recommend for anyone interested in Orgmode. I wish there will be more advanced course to teach how to use Emacs Lisp to write own functions even packages.

Few years ago, i learnt how to use orgmode watching Rainer’s video on Youtube and when i saw he had a course on Udemy, I immediatly bought to it to express my gratitude to him.
I watched all the lessons: Rainer did a great job. The lessons are in general short with a well-defined goal and you also learn when there can be some traps or tricks to know. I really appreciate the fact we see which keys are pressed. The last lesson was very interesting seeing a real usecase.
The associated book (and code’s snippets) is very well written and useful.
I hope Rainer got a (well-payed) new job and he will do other courses : maybe on elisp ?
TLDR: great course, congrats and many thanks to Rainer !

I knew it would be quite good, but I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and objectivity, something which should be expected from its German origin!

This course was a great detailed expansion of König’s original YouTube videos which had taught me pretty much everything I knew about org-mode. I was especially impressed by the final section where he demonstrated how all the pieces of the course were pulled together to create the much more advanced system workflow he uses each day. A clear practical course with a handy writeup of each section as a course book for following along.

Very good introduction to Emacs Org Mode and comes with a great and helpful textbook (120 p.)!
Sometimes a little hard to listen to his “denglish”.

Ganz herzlichen Dank!
