But now, after watching Jason’s Facebook Ads Overview class, I see where I’ve made (expensive) mistakes and am on a clear path to re-launch my program. This was honestly disappointing, as my first Udemy course. While some content was good, the big problem was it was SO repetitive. These were clearly just YouTube videos that are strung together to make a “course”, so there was just so much overlap within each video (i.e., I think I learned how to create a “custom audience” about 5 times). These were all clearly just videos previously posted on youtube (i.e., at the end of every video, he asks viewer to “like, comment below, subscribe to the channel” which are clearly not applicable to Udemy). As mentioned, the biggest issue is that things were SO repetitive–clearly, again, this is not original content. I think he went through in 4 or 5 different videos how to create a campaign. I kept trying to watch the content but it got too repetitive to the point where I felt I was completely wasting my time. It also says 2019 but content clearly was from 2017 and/or 2018. It makes me think that the people who reviewed this course already didn’t actually view it. There’s no way anyone could’ve watched and not noticed how repetitive nearly every video is. Probably 50% of each video was overlap.
