I was very impressed with the course it was very helpful to start learning the how to stuff delighted that i bought. you have to learn as much as you can before you take a drone that’s so expensive out , my drone cost me nearly 600 euro it is the dji phantom 3 standard and im going to make sure i know the stuff before i first fly it out, thanks for the Info.

Great course to get you started! Very informative and was easy to follow, simplified in a way that made the technical stuff very easy to follow. Kate is a true professional and leaves you with excellent advice in safety and operation of Drones as well as camera settings and editing that she uses in her professional career. I hope to see more courses and advise from Kate in the future.

This course could have been more in depth. Just because the instructor doesn’t use a particular function, shouldn’t mean brushing over the subject.

The course content is not matching the title. The title doesn’t do justice to the course. In my opinion, it should be called drones for dummies classes. Because it is extremely green. I am sorry to say this, but I learned more from YouTube videos than this course. To me, it was a waste of money.

This course is perfect for me. I had two cheap drones that quickly got broken, and I was afraid to buy and use an expensive DJI without detailed instruction for the absolute beginner. It also has information about accessories, and how to legally sell photos. I recommend this course to people interested in drones before or after they buy a DJI drone.

Well done for the basics. A few things for the Mavic are different than the phantom, but the fundamentals are covered here. Thanks!

The sound quality could be better. Could not hear clearly some parts. Some of the topics like recording and using editing software was not clear.

Course is a quick primer to operating a DJI Phantom 3 drone. The course goes very quick and will get you competent on using the basic controls if you are not familiar with flying drones. The FAA drone reg has been over turned so no worries registering your drone but you should exercise good judgement when flying.
Ann Hill –
Really liked Kate’s enthusiastic presentations. However, I have the Phantom 4 pro+ which is similar to the P3 yet different enough to warrant a separate detailed presentation, hope Kate can do this in the future.

This curse good for really beginners. But I think if You explain menu You should say: You dont need to know it…. or Dont toch it…
You need to explain and say that for now you dont need it.
Its my opinion.

From the description I expected a tutorial on the FAA test, along with the drone flying lessons.
The flying lessons were good, but the rest of the course did not live up to my expectations.
For example the description says, “Learn how to legally sell aerial footage”, but the course gives no actual selling tips such as places to sell the footage. Basically it says that you have to be Drone certified in order to sell the footage, not how to sell the footage.

Yes a lot more informative than the other course I did. As a novice it is nice to be able to learn from the basics and then advance over time, thanks Kate.
